By unifying identity proofing and strong authentication, the BlockID platform creates a distributed digital identity that prevents identity impersonation, account takeover and fraud while delivering frictionless user experiences. BlockID is the only NIST, FIDO2, and iBeta biometrics certified platform that performs millions of authentications daily for some of the largest banks, telecommunications, and healthcare organizations in the world.
How they describe their product/innovation: 1Kosmos will demonstrate their platform capability that allows a bank, university or any trusted authority to issue verifiable credentials like a Bank ID, University degree or any credential on the blockchain. The customer can hold this immutable proof on their mobile app. 1Kosmos also offers capability for verifiers to instantly check the authenticity of the credential. This opens up the marketplace to deepen relationships with customers by offering them valuable services at the right time and avoid any paper based verification.
