How they describe themselves: TESOBE is an agile funky team of software engineers, project managers and designers based in Berlin. We specialise in web and mobile application development, open data and APIs.

The Open Bank Project is an open source powered API for banks that enables account holders to interact with their transaction data using a wider range of applications and services. The OBP API supports transparency options (account holders can share configurable views of their transaction data with trusted individuals and even the public), data blurring (to preserve sensitive information) and data enrichment (users can add tags, comments and images to transactions).

How they describe their product/innovation: The world’s first Singing Bank! demonstrates three principles of the OBP API:

1) It encourages innovation (niche markets, interfaces, languages. etc.).
2) It supports *public* views on transaction data whilst preserving sensitive information.
3) It results in lower barriers to entry, better security and lower cost.

The OBP Transparency/Social Finance application is for organisations that want to practice wider transparency and/or generate a real time dialogue around their finances.

The OBP App Store allows vendors to showcase and consumers to find and rank apps.

The OBP Virtual Machine allows CTO’s to easily evaluate our technology.
